    北京首都国际机场地面风统计特征分析

    Statistical characteristics of near-surface winds at Capital International Airport of Beijing

    • 摘要: 利用2000—2022年北京首都国际机场气象自动观测系统逐小时地面10 m高度10 min平均风数据,按不同时间和风速区间分析风的特征以及风和大风事件的统计特征。首都国际机场2000—2022年以VRB(风向不定)最多,其次为偏北风(350°~10°),但其年平均风速均不大。年平均风速最大值的风向在260°~340°,其次是170°~230°。月平均风速4月最大,7—9月最小。4月平均风速多在4~6 m·s-1,6 m·s-1以上在12月出现最多;夏季的平均风速多在1~3 m·s-1。首都国际机场风向的日变化显著,夜间和上午多偏北风,午后转偏南风。局地热力环境日变化导致风向随之变化,且风速较小,VRB频率最高。但各月风向的日变化也不同,冬季转风时间晚,多在13时,春夏两季转风时间早,多在10—11时。极端大风事件的发生频次具有显著的季节差异,冬、春季发生频次约为夏季的2倍,在对流层中部,由于来自中高纬度的冷干空气的入侵,山脊前方的下沉气流在地表形成反气旋冷高压,上述环流特征在冬春季最强。研究结果有助于深入认识复杂地形下近地面局地风场的精细化时空规律,可为机场运行及小尺度山地气象监测和预报提供重要的背景参考。

       

      Abstract: This work studies the seasonal wind characteristics and the feature of the wind factors at Beijing Capital International Airport using the historical hourly wind observation of 10-min average data at 10 m altitude wind data collected by Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) from January 1,2000 to December 31,2022.Results show that the wind direction is mainly affected by VRB (variable wind direction),and then followed by north wind (350°-10°),however,their annual average wind speeds were not significant.The annual average wind speed is the highest between 260°-340°,and is followed by the range of 170°- 230°.The average monthly wind speed is highest in April and lowest from July to September.The average wind speed in April is mostly between 4-6 m·s-1,and the highest occurred in December when the wind speed was above 6 m·s-1; the average wind speed in summer often occurs between 1 and 3 m·s-1.The diurnal variation of wind direction is significant,with more north wind at night and in the morning,and south wind in the afternoon.However,the daily variation of wind direction varies from month to month.In winter,the wind turns later,mostly at 13:00,and in spring and summer,it turns earlier,usually between 10:00 and 11:00.The frequency of gale has significant seasonal differences,with winter and spring occurring approximately twice as frequently as in summer.In the middle troposphere,owing to the intrusion of cold dry air from the mid-high latitudes,the sinking air ahead of the ridge creates an anticyclonic cold high at the surface.The aforementioned circulation features are the strongest in winter and the weakest in spring.This study contributes to a deeper comprehension of the fine-scale spatiotemporal patterns of near-surface local wind fields within complex terrains,and can offer crucial background clues for airport operations and small-scale mountainous meteorological monitoring and forecasting.
