Abstract:
Based on climate data including air temperature, precipitation, cloud cover, relative humidity and average wind speed from 1951 to 2005 in Yingkou-an inshore light industry city and Anshan-an inland heavy industry city, the climate change characteristics in two cities and their formative reasons were analyzed by comparison analysis method. The results show that average air temperature takes on an ascending trend in two cities during the recent 55 years, while precipitation, total cloud cover, average wind speed and relative humidity take on descending trends.Only low cloud covers in two cities have different change trends with an increasing trend in Yingkou and a decreasing trend in Anshan. The intensity of ascending trend of average air temperature and intensities of descending trends of average wind speed and total cloud cover as well as relative humidity in Anshan are stronger than those in Yingkou.Variation rates of climatic elements are larger in two cities, including average air temperature, relative humidity, low cloud cover and wind force. However, variation rates of precipitation and total cloud cover are smaller.
