Abstract: Aimed at the rapid development of auto industrial and speedy increase of motor vehicles retaining amount,the classification and the origin of pollutants caused by traffic and transportation were introduced combining domestic and foreign correlative researches.And the effects of traffic and transportation on the surrounding soil and plants at both sides of road were summarized.According to the practical status of traffic and transportation,the research tasks in the future were discussed.Some suggestions are put up,including exploring cleanness energy,investigating the transfer and transform rules of pollutants in order to reduce the harm to human health,selecting tree species with the higher enrichment ability to pollutants caused by traffic and transport in order to interdict pollutants transfer.
