Abstract:
The relationships between different growing stages’ characteristics of maize and climatic factors of 14 years in Jinzhou were analyzed. The results show that the phenological phase of the same variety maize is similar and its range is about 2 days, except the silking stage to the mature stage with more than 6 days. The factors influencing various growing stages of maize are different. For example, the emergence stage, three leaf stage and seven leaf stage of maize are significantly influenced by air temperature and humidity. The accumulated temperature from the sowing date to seven leaf stage of maize accounts for 20% of the accumulated temperature in the total growing stage, and it has a significant conical relationship with the cumulant of air humidity (R2=0.91). The accumulated temperature and the cumulant of air humidity could be used to simulate the phenological phase of maize from the seeding stage to the seven leaf stage as well as the total growing stage of maize.
