Abstract: In order to accelerate the harmonious development of regional economic and ecological environment, ecological funct ion regions w ere divided in Liaoning province based to the actual status. It could be be divided into 4 ecological regions, 15 ecological subregions and 47 ecological function regions. At the same time, the key regions based on ecological service function were determined.
