Abstract:
The analysis of lake-land breeze not only improves forecast abilities of weather and climate, but also is significant to development and utilization of wind energy resources. Based on the flux data from March 2007 to May 2008 in national climatic observatory of Dali, the characteristics of lake-land breeze and gorge wind and their forming reasons as well as their controlling factors were analyzed by eddy correlation method. The results indicate that the prevailing winds are the east and southeast winds in the day, so are the west and southwest winds at night. According to the characteristics of turbulence and turbulence flux, it found that the frequency of unstable stratification in the day is higher than that at night. Turbulence intensity in the day is larger than that at night, and it decreases with the increase of wind speed. The diurnal variations of turbulent fluxes are obvious. And the latent heat fluxes dominate in Dali.
