New generation weather radar mosaic system based on Delphi and MapX components

According to the electronic map in Liaoning province and Borland Delphi software,the new generation weather radar mosaic system was developed by MapX OCX of COM technology components.This system can realize "display and zoom","cruise" and "layer control" function in electronic map.At the same time,the principles of the reference frame transform on radar products,the selection of map projections,the treatment of radar overlap echo image,the march of grid images,methods of binding data from MapX to radar data on the map and creating the temporary layer and so on are discussed in this paper.The radar data can be added to the electronic map.
