Characteristics of atmospheric microbe concentration changes during recent years in urban regions of Huludao,Liaoning province

The indoor and outdoor atmospheric microbe contents from May 2006 to January 2007 were measured by the sedimentation method of plate in urban regions of Huludao,Liaoning province.The results indicate that the total microbe contents,bacteria contents,fungus contents in the whole urban regions are 15434.0,14981.9 CFU/m3 and 452.1 CFU/m3,and the percent of fungus content to the total content is 2.9%.It shows that air quality is middle pollution level of microbe.The air quality in downtown areas or heavy traffic areas is worse than that in outskirts or less populated areas.The outdoor microbe concentrations vary with time and perpendicular heights.According to the indoor microbe contents,the indoor air quality is better.It suggests that appropriate measures should be adopted to improve the air quality.
