Data correction of solar calibration method for CINRAD/SC weather radar system

摘要: 提出CINRAD/SC天气雷达系统的“太阳法标校”数据中含有比较明显的随机误差分量,建议这类数据不宜直接作为调整天线电轴空间指向读数的依据。通过对CINRAD/SC天气雷达系统“太阳法标校”数据生成步骤的分析结果表明:引起“太阳法标校”数据误差的主要因素是“时间错位”。根据这种 “时间错位误差”的产生原理,提出了消除这类误差的方法和步骤,并给出了相应的计算公式。以“时间错位误差”修正后的“太阳法标校”数据作为依据来调整天线电轴指向,将有助于新一代天气雷达系统定向精确度的提高。

Abstract: There are relatively obvious random errors in solar calibration data of CINRAD/SC weather radar system, so it suggests that the data should not be used directly as the basis in the course of correcting the direction of the antenna electrical boresight. According to the data creation process of solar calibration method in CINRAD/SC weather radar system, it indicates that the main reason causing the errors is the “time warping”. The methods and steps eliminating this kind of errors are put forward based on the rule of producing errors, and the corresponding formulae are also given. The corrected data of solar calibration method are used as the basis adjusting the direction of the antenna electrical boresight, which is helpful to improve the directional accuracy of the new generation weather radar system.
